Martha and Mary are two well known followers of Jesus, and good friends of His as well. Yet, in His presence they took entirely different approaches...Martha, with her spirit of hospitality busied herself making sure her guests were well taken care of. Her sister Mary chose to sit at the feet of Jesus....

I'm using this lesson to kick off a series on building our relationship with Jesus. Sometimes we fall into the "motion of life" and rather than just sitting at His feet, we spend our time so focused on other areas of ministry we aren't benefitting from a relationship with Jesus that will sustain us through anything and everything!

Jesus' death and resurrection covered the costs of our sins, through Him, our eternity is set. But did you know that when we sin, we create a separation between ourselves and God. Join me as I talk about the need to daily confess our sins to God, not as an act of works, but instead an act of love and devotion to our Lord.

Cultivating relationships take time and commitment. The same is true in our relationships with Jesus. Our world is filled with noise and distractions, and while we strive to seek the Lord in the chaos, do we ever sit and just listen for Him? One key to a relationship with Jesus is listening, not for a booming voice overpowering the noise of life, but the whispers that guide us in our daily lives.

The truth is, Jesus is always speaking to us, inviting us into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. How do we hear His voice? The answer lies in His Word—the Bible.

The Bible is more than just a book; it's a living, breathing testament of God's love, wisdom, and guidance for us. Through its pages, Jesus speaks directly to our hearts, offering comfort, direction, and a deeper understanding of His will for our lives. But how do we tune in to hear His voice amidst the busyness of life?
