True friends are always there through the easy times and the rough times. When we are in need those who stand by us truly bring sunshine into our lives during the storms that blackout our vision.

A story about a time I was hospitalized 14 years ago for a hernia operation left me feeling humbled and blessed!

Wrote this piece while in the hospital this last week, realizing that the what “if’s” hold no power lest I give them power with my thoughts. Release all your worries unto Him for tomorrow will worry about itself.

The peace the Lord provides through my darkest storms!
