Today we give ourselves joy. A joy for life, for existence, this pure and innocent, childlike joy. During the holiday season we might feel a lot of emotions, for many it can be a very challenging time with lots of triggers that bring up lots of old stuff. Facing the hardship and the discomfort of life can lead us back to where we come from: Love and Joy.
What brings you joy?
Here's a wonderful quote by Rumi that I find so true: “Sorrow prepares you for joy. It violently sweeps everything out of your house, so that new joy can find space to enter. It shakes the yellow leaves from the bough of your heart, so that fresh, green leaves can grow in their place. It pulls up the rotten roots, so that new roots hidden beneath have room to grow. Whatever sorrow shakes from your heart, far better things will take their place.”
So, today give yourself joy.

As we're Wrapping Up 2022 (listen to episode #167) many of us find ourselves in a lot of fast-paced pressure. We have so many things we wanna wrap up, finish and complete before we enter the year of 2023, that we tend to forget to really tune in and slow down. This is the season to slow down. I myself need this reminder so I thought I take you on this journey with me.
