A More Philly Union

The Empire has struck back.  Poets are dead.  And, like you all, the AMPU crew is struggling to regain their footing in the wake of the seismic reverberations of Curtin's dismissal.  But fortunately for Paul, C, and E, they have as their guest this week super-fan Nate who helps make sense of the surprise loss of our long time and much-loved coach.  Motives are explored, conspiracies pondered, and futures divined as the group hopes, for the Union's sake, that Jim Curtin doesn't become the next Andy Reid.

And Nate: Conor Casey would most definitely be an excellent fit!

We're back!  After a brief hiatus last week, the AMPU crew returns to discuss the the quickly approaching end of the regular season.  Join Paul, C, and E as they play catch-up on the Union's 4-0 domination over DC United as well as the Union's tepid 1-1 draw against Atlanta United.  With precious time running out in the regular season, questions (and rants) arise if the return of Blake, the new-and-improved T.O.D., and the Sullivan Power Couple will be enough to get the Union over the line and into playoff territory.

Technically, this past week the Union extended the I-95 rivalry to now include Miami (map it, you'll see) as the Boys in Blue face off against a very Messi Inter Miami and a very messy (eh...) NYC FC.  Meanwhile, at the AMPU studios, Paul and E have the run of things and without the sage guidance of C, they work in a LOT of movie references (probably too many) as they discuss the new and improved T.O.D, Rick's continued journey toward achieving total Blake-ness, and the three-pillar philosophy to winning games: Positivity, Confidence, and Fun.
