Today, we celebrated and honoured mothers, acknowledging the joy and pain that Mother’s Day can bring, and prayed for all who carry the heart of a mother. Jen explored the significance of names and places in Peter’s ministry, highlighting God’s personal and purposeful work, and the inclusive love symbolized by Joppa. Reflecting on Peter’s stay with Simon the tanner, we were reminded of Jesus’ ministry to the marginalized and the call to listen to the Good Shepherd’s voice, accepting grace and joining in worship.
