Salar's parents migrated from Pakistan to the US and achieved the "American Dream".  They settled in Texas and we learn what it was like to be muslim in the Bible Belt. What’s up, I’m Zach, and I was on a diet of rice and pears for 8 whole years! I have an incurable disease (Eosinophilic Esophagitis) that really isolated me from everyone else. For so long, I tried to fit in with those around me. Then one day, I realized my true identity... I am a weirdo.
