Judges 20–21 shows the aftermath of the horror in Gibeah and the deep brokenness of Israel as a whole. These chapters teach that when sin is not dealt with early, entire communities can unravel. Even when people finally confront evil, they may still handle matters with a mixture of zeal, grief, rashness, and human confusion.
