What started with one dad's daily detour to the bodega became the spark for something bigger. Jackpocket's founder, Pete Sullivan, launched Jackpocket in 2013, digitalizing the lottery experience and creating a highly successful product.

Fast-forward more than a decade, and Jackpocket customers can safely and securely order tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, state lottery draw games, and scratch—off games from their phones. DraftKings acquired Jackpocket in May 2024. This acquisition opened up a new product category for DraftKings within a large and rapidly growing lottery courier vertical. Not only was this a fantastic business opportunity, but we also welcomed many talented new teammates from across the U.S.
