Approximately 700 years before Christ, God prophesied that one day He would make a New Covenant with His people (Jer 31:33). That day has come. When God made this promise, His people were facing very dark times and they were about to be deported into Babylon. In the midst of all this tragedy, God consoled His people, gave them new hope and made this wonderful promise. That’s just the way God is: when you face difficult times, God is right there to give you a hope and a future (Rom 15:13).
