Grace Bonney joins us to discuss the second issue of the journal, Good Company, called “The Fear(less) Issue.” An author, blogger and entrepreneur, Bonney wrote In The Company of Women in 2016, which featured more than 100 stories about women entrepreneurs who overcame adversity. Inspired by this, Good Company is a journal for women and nonbinary creatives at every stage of life. Its mission is to provide motivation, inspiration, advice, and a vital sense of connection and community. "The Fear(less) Issue" focuses on the subject at the heart of any kind of ambition: failure.

Carla Hall joins us to discuss Carla Hall's Soul Food: Everyday and Celebration. A beloved TV chef (ABC’s Emmy Award-winning The Chew and fan favorite on Bravo’s Top Chef), Hall takes us back to her Nashville roots to offer a fresh look at America’s favorite comfort cuisine and traces soul food’s history from Africa and the Caribbean to the American South.
