Have you ever had that feeling of just wanting to get out of town? To just hit the road and start over? It's that feeling of promise, of hope, that something ahead could somehow be better than what's behind.

And this is the message of God's grace during Easter.

Paul says this in Romans 6:3 (MS) “We’ve left the country where sin is sovereign, how can we still live in our old house there? Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace—a new life in a new land!"

That’s why Easter is such a big deal. This desire for a new land, a new life, is woven into every human heart. Join us as we celebrate the fresh start Jesus offers!
