Acts 6:8-7:1, 51-60 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | To bear witness can involve pointing, storytelling, or describing. But, the church's witness-bearing is embodied. As temples of God's Holy Spirit, we become the present incarnation of his word, the signs and instruments of his transforming presence in the life of our community, and the embodied testament to his own proclamation that not even death holds any power against the God of salvation. Such a means of witness can and should consume every fiber of our being.
