I know many might ask, isn’t this really about semantics? Is there really a difference between a resolve and a resolution? Just looking at the words, seemingly very similar they are. Yet I found one little difference, that makes a huge difference… ‘resolution’ defined is when ‘a strong will sets a desire’. Yet, a ‘resolve’ is defined, ‘a determination sets a strong will.’ In other words, you aren’t just determined to address a problem, you’re resolved to ‘solve’ a problem. Resolution ‘hopes’ you can do, Resolve, ‘knows’ you will do it! In a resolution, a desire the will sets; but a in a resolve, a determination sets the will!
