Fear is one of our most primal emotions and unfortunately, because it impedes one’s ability to reason, it is the go-to strategy of tyrants throughout recorded human history. Our leadership’s reliance on fear exposes their intent as less than righteous. In spite of their dubious machinations, they know that the facts simply do not support their assertions. But if fear can keep one from thinking clearly, they gamble that you will comply without question or looking too closely at the results of their edicts. Take C19 US fatalities for example, the numbers never supported the alarmism crammed down our throats. 15 days to slow the spread was always a lie as their intentions, as I mentioned before, were exposed in the months that followed. They artificially crippled our economy, quarantined healthy people, and the data that followed showed these strategies to be statistically insignificant in their efficacy - in other words they didn’t work. What the data has always shown is that it is the elderly, immunocompromised, and most importantly, the already diseased that are the most vulnerable. With a target this clear it would seem a no brainer how our resources should be allocated. So why didn’t we implement a strategy where we trust free people to asses their own risk while at the same time offering protection to the most vulnerable? The answer is quite simple: fear grants power to the ruling class and common sense assuages fear.
