Parents seem to always worry about their children. It is not unusual for parents to wonder and worry about the future for their offspring. A parent's lament is about those secret, quiet moments within that they only know within themselves. It is about the heart's yearning for each child in a different way. It is about perhaps not seeing the fulfillment of your dream for your child. All of this feeds a parent's lament.

Ultimately, a parent will be rewarded and realize a 'harvest of joy.' There is no pride like a parent's pride and that is the answered prayer to a parent's lament - reaping bountiful joy with pride for the child.
