The final episode of our sustainability mini-series is with Sam Archer.
Sam is a Sustainability Consultant and Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry. He moved to New Zealand in July 2014 and is now Director of Market Transformation at the New Zealand Green Building Council with a responsibility for running their sustainability and energy assessment tools - Green Star, Homestar, HomeFit and Nabers.
Sam has a particular passion for sustainable housing having spent 6 years creating and managing the sustainability framework for a 3,000 home development for the University of Cambridge in the UK.
He also has extensive experience of sustainability and energy strategies, including carbon policy work for the UK and New Zealand governments, sustainable urban design and low energy and passive building design.
