The petting business can be fun and rewarding, but it takes a particular type of person's attitude and love for animals. When you are an animal lover, you can recognize another animal lover.

Then you get so close to some of them.  You form bonds with the pets and sometimes with the owners of the pets. If you are looking to get rich with this business, HA! Unless you have a ton of money when you start, and it depends on what you want to do with it it is not for you. You do it for the love of animals, plain and simple. 

I can tell you this. You cannot fake it. These pets will sniff you out in 2 seconds.
