Educate Everyone

A Philosophical War - Identifying Conflict

Listen Later

In this episode, Dr. Atman discusses the various conflicts that color our world, how we perceive it and how we deal with those challenges.  Oft times, we perceive change as something negative, but Dr. Atman suggests that rather than immediately apply that label, that we let the change play out and we may find that what at first appeared to be a negative can actually turn out to be a positive.  The starting point he says is in reflection; taking the time to identify the experiences, thoughts and cultures that cause us to react as we do and if those elements are identified and recognized, Dr. Atman says we will be able to see things more clearly and for what they are without outside influences changing our perceptions.
