A Pipeline at Risk, BC's Volcano & Becoming a Client State

A judge in Montana last week threw the controversial pipeline project into doubt, granting an injunction to stop construction. How much of a setback is this for the project?
You might not know, but there is a volcano right here in BC.  It’s called Mount Meager and the chances of it erupting might be increasing.  Glyn Williams-Jones is a volcanologist from Simon Fraser University and has flown over the volcano and is here to talk about what potential dangers exist to the Pemberton valley.
In his controversial book “Silent Invasion”, Australian public ethics professor Clive Hamilton warns Ottawa that Canada risks becoming a ‘client state’ of China, unless it stops being naive about that country’s influence. Hamilton spoke to Producer Pippa Reed about what lessons Canada can learn from Australia’s familiarity with Chinese influence.
