If you look up the phrase "He Gets Us," you will find that this was a campaign promoting Jesus, aiming to make his teachings more accessible and relevant to modern audiences. While there is an overall weakness to the whole marketing effort, yet, the phrase makes us think, and that's good. Today's discussion picks up this phrase and transforms it a bit, asking the question "Does Jesus Get Us?" This question was the title of a four part sermon series that was preached by Rev.
