There has been a tremendous expansion of Christianity in the global South - in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. This means that the center of the church will gradually shift to the areas of Asia, Latin America, and Africa. The key Christian population in years to come will be in these areas. So, if we tend to think of Christians as European, we need to get used to thinking of places like Nigeria, Brazil, Ethiopia as Christian centers! Some of the worship practices will not be the same as what is familiar with our worship services. In many cases, there is a lot of emphasis on healing, exorcism, and the supernatural. In some places there are all night services. It is a very active and creative time in Christian advance in these areas. Also is a huge advance in terms of writing Christian hymns.
