I am reading a poem by Khalil Gibran. 

He was born in Lebanon in 1883, and died in New York in 1931, where he lived. He was an essayist, author, poet and and artist. Throughout his life he published  nine books in Arabic and eight in English, he wrote about love, death and religious themes.
