In Psalm 62, verses 5 and 6, the scripture says this, “My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.“

You know there’s so many things that can come against us, even unexpectedly, that threaten to take away our confidence for today and our hope for tomorrow. It can be a harshly spoken word, a doctor’s report, the loss of a loved one and sometimes, even unexplainable things that come to darken our hope, and they can come, when you and I least expect it. Though we are shaken, when we turn to God, He promises to be our stability when our natural eyes can’t see a way forward. In God is my salvation and my glory, the rock of my strength, and my refuge is in God.
