When the Israelites were stuck in Egyptian bondage, they cried out to God for salvation. To be saved the Israelites needed two things from God: a promise and an advocate. Moses arrives as their advocate, frequently pleading Israel’s case to God and reminding God of the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

We are not so different. As we live stuck in bondage to sin and death, we cry out to God for salvation. To be saved we need God’s promise and an advocate. Study with us as we see how God meets these needs.
