~ Kesha James received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and her Master of Arts in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication (MAIOC) both from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She currently works at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix and the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College. She has taught as an adjunct professor on and off since 2003.
~ Kesha James is also very active in a non-profit youth sports program. She has served on the board for the Southwest Saints Youth Football and Cheer program since 2015, serving in various capacities such as concession, registration, eligibility, and treasurer. For the past 2 years, Kesha has served as the Chairperson for the IYFL (Independent Youth Football League) Education Committee. This is a program that was started to promote academics within the youth athletes. Last year, Kesha launched “Valen’s Pens” a custom pen design company.
~ Kesha James is a mother to 2 sons (24 and 12) and wife to Derrick James. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, crafts, reading, watching movies, and family game nights.
