With just a few games to go, the NBA Eastern Conference has six teams battling for three spots. Of these six teams, who will be on the outside looking in? The Western Conference is a two team battle, for the eigth seed. New Orleans and Oklahoma City, both 42-36, are the only teams alive, in this playoff race. Who will pull this off?
The NHL is down to one or two games, depending on your team. The biggest news, is the Pittsburgh Penguins. Dan Bylsma was relieved of his duties, last year, after failing to make a deep run in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. This year, new coach Mike Johnston has had to deal with a massive wave of injuries. However, his Penguins are skating on thin ice. They have a one point lead, in the wild card, and if they stumble, could miss the playoffs.
