Recently Kyle used a quote from Muhammed Ali in class in which Ali uses the term 'so-called Negros.' He read the quote to his class as a part of a lesson on the Civil Rights Movement. There was some strong negative reaction to this, so we sat down to have a conversation about that we wanted to share with y'all.   In this situation how would you have approach the lesson? How would you have responded to students?
