On this week's episode of Womens EmpowHerment Junkie, I have the beautiful Vanessa Simpkins, CEO & Founder of Take Your Power Back Now. Her work has been featured on FOX, ABC, CBS and NBC television. And she is passionate about teaching women how to overcome fear and thrive so they can have a choice in relationships and leave lousy jobs and relationships without being held back by fear or money.
Are you able to look at parts of yourself and heal? Its a scary thought, but Vanessa teaches us that we can share our stories we never wanted to to tell in order to do just that...heal and dismantling the story you were told.
I have learned over the years of healing along with Vanessa that we need to lead with love and love in the unknown and to radically look on the inside of Self-Love. We are far from perfect so we need to share our imperfect underbellys!
Our conversation about being who we are and fuck everyone who has an opinion about what we should do or not do. Lets embrace US, our true selves. Take that sexy photo and post the damn thing! If it makes you feel good, then do it. There will always be criticism from someone but that is where you thank them and say I'm sorry you feel that way about yourself. She definately explains this in better terms as she tells the story of a post she did and her mother commented on her eyebrows...LOL She claimed herself and we should too.
Let's meet ourselves and say Fuck ya or Hell No. Your allowed!
We don't need to have someone in our lives to make us happy, we can not control other peoples feelings or behavior about us. We are responsible for our own feelings and we cant give our power away to someone else feel complete and fulfill us, that is not their job, it is our responsibility for ourselves.
