In this week's episode, the first half is all over the place. It's been monsoon season here in NY apparently, and our car movie this week was 2003's "Grind". Adam brings us up to speed on the next modifications for his cars - headlight upgrades for his RS4, and disabling his Allroad's auto stop-start feature. We talk about John Deere's ongoing strike, Tesla shenanigans with the Cybertruck, and Ford's range upgrade on the Mach-E.
In the second half, the main attraction this week - an in-depth discussion on the car video game industry. How it started, where its been, where it is, and where it's going. From the first car arcade game decades ago with simple rolling scenery and a stationary car, to the latest games featuring accurate physics, day/night cycles, and weather changes. We talk about our own experiences playing these games, from the Gran Turismo series, through all the Forza Motorsport and Horizon series, to GTA 5 - a game that, while not marketing itself as a racing sim, damn sure pulls it off. And finally, Bruce and Adam's trip to a scrapyard in search of some illusive Audi doorblades.
