The Salvation of every individual is the premeditated, Eternal plan lodged in, and launched from, the heart of the Father. Jesus embodied that plan and brought it to fruition by his submission to death on the cross. He released the powerful impact of that plan by his rising from the dead, by being the firstborn of a new family of believers, all brothers and sisters (Rom. 8:29). That divine transaction, ‘the bread and the wine,’ still causes dead bones to live again and become an army, a re-created people. We are that people, the church of the Living God.
