Episode 32 of The Conor Chepenik Podcast is a read of Nick Szabo's Smart Contracts. Szabo shows incredible foresight in this piece and I hope you guys learn something from this fantastic article. I know I did.

In this paper, Szabo defines smart contracts as "a set of promises, specified in digital form, including protocols within which the parties perform on these promises." He argues that smart contracts have the potential to revolutionize digital markets by making it possible to automate the execution of contracts and reduce the need for trust between parties
