A podcast episode begins as a file that pretends it has no body. It moves from a voice model to an MP3, from an object store to an RSS feed, from Buzzsprout into a car. The copy is perfect and the delivery is nearly weightless. Then comes a wonderfully unreasonable question: can this recording arrive at the house as a record or a tape, ordered by software?
