The beginning of Ephesians 2, Paul continues the building important pillars of a believer’s faith. He contrasts what he shared about God’s character and reason for choosing us and adopting us as sons and daughters through Christ with the reality of our human condition without Him. Paul drives the reader to come to terms with what our life was like before salvation, which adds gravity to the saving grace of the Father.
