In this video, the people of Asomanya show their overwhelming joy and gratitude for the commissioning of the 21st Hive borehole in Ghana. The statements made in the video highlight how transformative and impactful access to clean water can be for communities that have not had access to clean water for extended periods of time.
Beyond the joy that these people are displaying, the video also illustrates what this project means to them on a daily basis. There's a woman who speaks and says how grateful she is to the Hive community for stepping in and getting clean and safe drinking water to her community. She speaks for countless people who felt their futures were just made brighter. Here's another example of how the Hive ecosystem is impacting lives in a way that is much deeper than through a digital platform.
In conjunction with technology and community-support, we are not only able to deliver water - we are also able to deliver hope and dignity. We look forward to continuing this change.
