Each of the gospels have a primary theme of how Jesus was God who came down to earth to die, be buried, and rise from the dead to pay for the sins of the world.

The secondary theme for Mark is: The Compassionate Healer

Mark is typically shorter in his accounts, but when it comes to accounts of healings, especially with children, he is longer than the other writers.
