The wrath of God is the proof of His purity. Yet the wrath of a holy and loving God is denied by so many. We cannot solve our own problems. Our hearts are dark; they are out of kilter with Gods heart. The gospel is the most important information for mankind. Only the gospel can eliminate evil and its disastrous effects. Our spiritual suicide, God will not allow. Look at the cross; there we see the thumping, heaving heart of God. On the cross we discern what we deserve; that we are exceedingly guilty offenders, that we cannot take pride in self and condemn others Death is our just reward. And the lonely, abandoned, agonized figure on the cross is, by the grace of God, our substitute. The gospel is the only antidote to the depravity and doom of sinful man.
