WEALTHY TALK WITH YYUNG EPISODE 9 with Johnnie Alexander Yonkers New York , Resides in Georgia. Johnnie migrated to New York from Oklahoma in the mid late 90s just him and his mother. The beginning of a journey that shaped Johnnie into the man he has become today. Johnnie shares with us a child hood struggle that a lot of young inner city kids dealt with growing up in the 90s. Drug addicted parents and or absentee fathers, and having to grow up faster than a child should have too in order to survive. From moving place to place , shelter to shelter, while remaining humble with a hungry stomach he took life one day at a time. Growing up being a well liked kid he adopted a second family that would look out for him when left alone for too long. With not knowing what each day was going to bring he couldn't see the big blessing coming his way that took him from the his home in the shelter in White Plains New York and put him on a road to his success. Johnnie has since went on to attending a boarding school in Pennsylvania graduating high school there and off to a HBCU in Louisiana getting a degree there. Landing him back in New York he then furthered his education attending another University. He has since returned to NY & took on a career giving back to his community in various different ways until getting married and eventually moving south where he is now a licensed therapist. Johnnie is an example of what an inner city kid can accomplish when the right opportunities are presented to them. It's never about how you start the race it's about how do you finish no matter how rough the start was.............
