be around someone like that.  But what does it mean to be ‘all about

you’?  And what if it turns out that every one of us struggle with

seeing life through a self-focused view?  Haman is the villain in the

story of Esther, in large part because he is selfish.  But as he

interacts with his family over the way he’s treated, we can see the

common ways that self-centered living creep into our experience and

color everything we see. As followers of the One who laid down His life

for us, we want to choose to push away Haman’s way of seeing and talking

about his life, and embrace the way Jesus lived selflessly.
