Archbishop Bernard Longley, Archbishop of Birmingham, celebrated Mass in St Chad’s Cathedral to show prayerful gratitude for all our nurses and doctors, carers in hospices, hospices and care homes and, indeed, those who are carers at home.
COVID-19 has touched the lives of everyone in our countries and the Bishops of England and Wales have offered a series of weekly Masses to pray for the sick, their families and the healthcare professionals that care for them during these unprecedented times.Archbishop Longley celebrated Mass for these important intentions on Thursday 18 June 2020 in St Chad’s Cathedral.
