Quick update: I haven't smoked one cigarette in the two weeks since Stephanie and I recorded this episode. That's the good news. The bad news is I lost in the semi-final round of the Funniest Person in Houston comedy contest. I still hoped I could win two weeks ago, but I didn't. Stephanie and I check in with each other for the first time in a while after all those crazy podcasts we did together a year and a half ago. I'm significantly happier in every way nowadays, and it shows. We have a really fun conversation, but we don't talk about the 2011 Iranian film A SEPARATION (directed by Asghar Farhadi).
