The latest monthly update from the Bureau of Competition’s Premerger Notification Office (PNO) regarding Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act transactions for September 2022 notes 195 reported transactions. This is the second-highest number of monthly reported transactions in the month of September between FY 2001 and FY 2022. However, it is significantly lower than the reported 359 September transactions in the previous fiscal year of 2021.
