The Joe Mooney Summer School is a wonderful week long session of many hundreds of musicians and it's hard to describe what fun it is. Irish music to me always seems like a form of a meditation; the tunes work like chants on the mind, bringing the musicians into a state of extraordinary equilibrium. Anyway, this is just a fun reflection on that amazing  thing known as  the Session. Always on the third week in July. Will it happen this year? Who can tell. if it does, it'll be different.
