This is not a particularly easy text for us to hear all the time. Just as Pastor Mark says in this message, sometimes we try to avoid figuring out what the text means. However, it is a critically important text that orients and shapes our lives and our allegiances. If we truly follow what Jesus says then our family just got a whole lot bigger.
