1 Thessalonians chapter 4, beginning at verse 16, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.“

I understand that it gets hard living in our present world. It’s also been difficult for others who have come before you. We’re not the first ones to have to go through dark days, but today God’s Word offers you and I a simple, but a sure comfort. This won’t last forever. Jesus Christ the Son of God is coming back to get you.
