We will do you a favor and discuss the movie "A Simple Favor" in Episode 75! This movie was a different Mystery/Thriller that manages to find a balance between comedy and suspense. Oscar found that the third act ruined the story that was built before due to all of the twists and turns. Donnie found that the performances by the actors managed to keep the dark comedy intriguing and worthy of following until the end. Both found issues with the choices made by the characters that resulted in making the twists a little unbelievable or inorganic. The movie manages to be entertaining and fun to experience as it provided a new way of providing a mystery story complete with strong performances from Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively.
