How to determine the sect of your birth chart: first, find the ascendant - this is where the horizon was when you were born. Then, look for the Sun in your birth chart. If it is above the horizon, you have a day chart and the Sun was visible when you were born. If the Sun is below the ascendant/descendant axis then you have a night chart.
