Can the Giants salvage their season? Their MLB-worst second half skid somehow continues to get even worse. To date, they're 11-25 since the break and they now trail the (superior) L.A. Dodgers by three games in the N.L. West. All that said, the Giants remain in good shape to secure a playoff berth, most likely as a Wild Card team, if they can somehow prevent utter collapse.
