Socialist Action is a radical faction of the NDP caucus. This conversation revolves around socialism, revolutionism, critics of the capitalist system, the oppression of the Global South and all other usual narratives from the radical Left.
Barry Weisleder is the leader of the NDP Socialist Caucus and Socialist Action. He is a long time political activist and a teacher in Ontario. He has been a delegate to virtually all Federal and Ontraio NDP convention. For 20 years, he was the President of Toronto Substitute Teachers.
Daniel Tarade is a PHD student at the University of Toronto in Biochemistry. In addition, he is a member of the NDP Socialist Caucus and Socialist Action.
