I have a confession...l really love my smartphone. Whether it’s needed directions, a weather forecast, a reminder to drink more water and breathe deeply, even an update on what my friends and family were up to last night. In fact, I’m not sure where I’d be without it. You too?

It would be difficult not to notice just how much our relationships with our mobile devices and their enticing apps have intensified. Researchers, even comics are nervous. Societally, these little buggers may represent one of the most socially acceptable addictions on the planet. The consequences, however, are worth noting…
