STOCKS TO WATCH:  $WMT $AAL $COST $RBLX $FRZA

Walmart (WMT) - A play on decelerating consumer spending which has "stabilized," according to one Wall Street analyst. An analyst at Morgan Stanley was favorable on Walmart Monday morning following the company's annual shareholder meeting last week.

 

American Airlines (AAL) - The company was featured in a Wall Street Journal front page article, "American Airlines’ Radical Plan to Reinvent Business Travel."

 

Costco Wholesale (COST) - A play on a bullish call by analysts at Oppenheimer. The firm re-added Costco to its top picks list Monday morning following recent downside in the stock. Oppenheimer noted a belief Costco investors could soon see a special dividend "down the road."

 

Roblox (RBLX) - A play on the metaverse. Apple (AAPL) is expected to unveil its first new product in more than a decade Monday afternoon, a virtual-reality headset.

 

Forza X1 (FRZA) - Monday morning's heftiest momentum stock. Shares were up nearly 150% amid low-float momentum. Some traders attributed the price action to a late-Friday tweet from the company seemingly hinting at a new electric boat from Forza.
